Romeo Cultural Centre – Nicosia Cyprus

Romeo Cultural Centre is about the re-use and conversion of the old Alfa Romeo Show Room and Service point into a diverse multilayered cultural hub for all ages.

We had the privilege to work with 2 young entrepreneurs from Cyprus that want to explore the potential of expanding and reaching out to the National and International community of artists, groups, productions companies and more. The core idea is to create a space where people can meet up and express their cultural findings, exchange information  and spend quality time together, while life-long educational facilities will provide the framework for local people to get involved with this project and feel committed.

The preliminary phase developed to initialise the concept and reach out for potential funding from organisations and private investors.

The main space will be transformed into a versatile theatre space for education purposes, theatrical and music performances to generate revenue, alongside with a cafe/ restaurant space that will attract people from all over the city and beyond. There will be workshop spaces to hire on demand, a designated area for a weekly organic farmers market, a private pool area for events and symposiums and more.
